State ID Application Request
To start the process of obtaining a State ID through the Maryland Capitol Police (MCP) Security Card Processing Center (SCPC), it is essential to follow these steps:
1. Contact Your Agency's Authorized ID Coordinator
Reach out to the designated ID coordinator for your agency to initiate the process. This step is crucial for ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Electronic Submission of Application Forms
All State ID application request forms must be submitted electronically by the authorized ID coordinator. Individual submissions are not accepted.
This procedure ensures compliance with SCPC guidelines and facilitates a smooth issuance process.
Hours of Operation
The Maryland Capitol Police (MCP) Security Card Processing Center (SCPC) operates with the following schedule for State ID services:
• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday: By appointment only from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
